Original image stacks for descriptions of fossil mites Levantoglyphus sidorchukae n. gen. and sp. from Cretaceous amber of Lebanon (ca. 129 Ma). Two specimens in a finely polished piece of amber are embedded in epoxy between two glass coverslips.<br>Compound microscopes Nikon E-800 with water immersion optics (40x and 60x), Zeiss AxioImager A2 with dry (40x, 63x) and oil immersion optics (100x), Leica DM 2500 LED (40x, 100x). Brightfield, phase contrast, polarized and differential interference contrast and incident illumination were used. Stacks of images, comprising multiple focal planes, were obtained with digital cameras Olympus OM-D E-M10II on the Nikon microscope, Zeiss Axiocam 506 color, Hitachi KP-HD20A on the Zeiss microscope, and Leica DMC4500 on the Leica microscope.<br>Stacks were corrected for color, brightness and noise with Adobe Lightroom, then exported to JPEG format. <br><br>
