The complete molecule of the title compound, C 16 H 12 Cl 4 N 2 O 4 , is generated by a crystallographic centre of symmetry. In the crystal, N—H...O hydrogen bonds link the molecules into [010] chains featuring R 2 2 (10) loops. The chains are cross-linked by short Cl...N contacts [3.224 (2) Å].
