Este artigo resume um trabalho realizado no âmbito escolar no ano de 2022, focado na temática: "Horta escolar como ferramenta Pedagógica e Interdisciplinar na Escola do Campo". O estudo concentrou-se na construção de uma horta escolar e na realização de atividades interdisciplinares envolvendo todas as disciplinas da Base Nacional Comum. Partiu-se da ideia de que a horta escolar funciona como um laboratório vivo, permitindo a contextualização dos conteúdos e promovendo a interdisciplinaridade, unindo teoria e prática. Essa abordagem favorece um processo de ensino-aprendizagem que integra diversos saberes produzidos pela humanidade. Inicialmente, foram investigados os conhecimentos conceituais, procedimentais e atitudinais dos estudantes sobre o tema, antes e depois da inserção no projeto. Participaram ao todo 20 estudantes dos 6º, 7º, 8º e 9º anos, com idades entre 10 e 15 anos, juntamente com seus professores e equipe pedagógica da Escola Municipal Pau D’arco, em Porto Nacional/TO, no período matutino. Para a coleta de dados, utilizaram-se questionários, atividades dos alunos e observações. Os resultados destacaram a eficácia da horta escolar como uma valiosa ferramenta pedagógica e interação entre teoria e conhecimentos práticos.
