A volume of this type would not be possible without the dedication and enthusiasm of myriad members of the community whose work it reflects and documents.We received forty-four manuscripts, all of them with significant merit, and fortunately we were able to trust our reviewers to help us make some very hard choices.We distributed 176 reviews across sixtynine reviewers.Many experienced reviewers from volume 28 of To Improve the Academy signed on again for this volume, and dozens of new colleagues volunteered to join us.The reviews we received were, for the most part, timely, thorough, thoughtful, and constructive.Taken together, the four reviews of each manuscript reflected the diversity of perspectives that is one of the many strengths of the Professional and Organizational Development Network in Higher Education (POD).
