What we believe to be a novel programmable coding metasurface (PCM) design that enables independent and dynamic control of both amplitude and phase in multiple linear polarized (LP) and circular polarized (CP) channels is proposed. The meta-atom of the PCM can achieve continuous amplitude dynamic modulation and 1-bit phase dynamic modulation for LP and CP waves by adjusting the integrated PIN diodes, so the PCM can independently and simultaneously control the absorption intensity and scattering direction of LP and CP waves through changing its amplitude and phase coding sequences. The proof-of-concept sample illustrates methodology's effectiveness. Simulation and experimental results align with theoretical predictions.
