Penelitian ini menggunakan biomassa batang padi untuk membuat sumber energi panas yang akan diubah menjadi sumber energi listrik dengan menggunakan termoelektrik generator dengan melakukan pembakaran langsung. Limbah batang padi belum dimanfaatkan dengan baik sehingga selesai masa panen limbah batang padi ini dibuang begitu saja bahkan dibakar sehingga menyebabkan polusi udara. Pengambilan data suhu pada penelitian ini menggunakan termometer digital yang diukur setiap 3 menit saat pembakaran berlangsung, pengukuran suhu dilakukan untuk mengetahui perbedaan suhu heatsink dan TEG agar tetap konstan. Pengambilan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan pengukuran yang diukur melalui penyimpanan superkapasitor dan tanpa penyimpanan superkapasitor pada rangkaian seri dan paralel. Semakin banyak jumlah TEG yang digunakan, maka nilai yang dihasilkan semakin bagus. Pengaruh daya listrik yang dihasilkan tanpa penyimpanan superkapasitor pada saat pembakaran limbah batang padi dipengaruhi oleh arus dan tegangan selama pembakaran. Nilai daya paralel lebih besar dibandingkan nilai daya seri.
