Learning automata (LAs) have many variants for various application fields. Sometimes, these variants abstract characters from specific applied problems and own respective different learning schemes. In this chapter, two special variants are presented to show the flexible learning schemes in the LA field and inspire the readers to develop more vigorous and creative learning schemes from LA applications. One is to solve the discovery and tracking of spatiotemporal event patterns, and the other is to solve the stochastic searching on a line. Events are omnipresent in the real world. For all the scope of events, they can be divided into two classes, i.e., Stochastically Episodic and Stochastically Non-Episodic ones. A Stochastic Point Location problem is another application-oriented learning automaton that aims to find a target parameter on a one-dimensional line by operating a controlled random walk and receiving information from a Stochastic Environment.
