Autoestima de mulheres durante o período gestacional e puerperal: impactos psicológicos e físicos da maternidade Article Swipe
A autoestima é determinante para o equilíbrio emocional da mulher durante o ciclo gravídico puerperal, influenciando a adaptação às mudanças corporais e o vínculo materno. Este estudo buscou avaliar a autoestima de gestantes e puérperas atendidas em maternidade de referência para alto risco. Estudo quantitativo, descritivo e transversal, conduzido em maternidade pública do Sudoeste do Paraná, em 2025, com 80 participantes. Foi aplicado questionário sociodemográfico e Escala de Autoestima de Rosenberg. Dados foram analisados por estatística descritiva e teste qui-quadrado (p<0,05). A autoestima foi classificada como adequada em 42,5% e elevada em 41,3%, enquanto 16,3% apresentaram baixa autoestima. Não houve diferença estatística entre os períodos gestacional e puerperal (p=0,664), indicando níveis de autoestima semelhantes. Gestantes e puérperas apresentaram autoestima predominantemente adequada ou elevada, independentemente do período avaliado. O suporte familiar e o acompanhamento pré-natal são essenciais para a manutenção do bem-estar psicológico e fortalecimento da autoconfiança materna.
