The International Thymic Malignancy Interest Group (ITMIG) has periodic tumor board meetings to discuss perplexing cases. Two of these cases from the October 2017 meeting are discussed in this article. The diagnoses of a simple thymic cyst and a thymoma are confirmed. Radiology imaging from both cases and pathology slides from the thymoma are reviewed. Treatment and surveillance recommendations are discussed for both cases, as well as lessons learned from group discussion.
