The objective of the cost-calculator was to provide an universal and adaptable tool to calculate the costs of interventions for AMU in livestock, poultry and aquaculture production systems. The deterministic costing tool was developed in Microsoft Excel Professional Plus (2016) and consists on a series of steps in which the user will enter the required inputs specific to the production system and the type of intervention/s. This tool is adapted from the WHO costing and budgeting tool for National Action Plan (NAP) on antimicrobial resistance (AMR)1.
