Modeled suitability for 12 commodity crops. Crop suitability determined as the union of three suitability methods: 1) ecocrop; 2) maxent; 3) frequency of extreme temperatures. Suitability modeled for baseline climate (1960-1990) and future climate scenarios (rcp45 and rcp85; 2040-2060 and 2060-2080). Data provided here was used in all analyses appearing in Hannah et al. (2020). The environmental consequences of climate-driven agricultural frontiers. PLOS ONE.
