EFEITO DOS CANABINOIDES NO COMPORTAMENTO SOCIAL DE CRIANÇAS E ADOLESCENTES COM TRANSTORNO DO ESPECTRO DO AUTISMO: REVISÃO SISTEMÁTICA Article Swipe

Objetivo: Avaliar o efeito e segurança dos canabinoides no comportamento social de crianças e adolescentes com Transtorno do Espectro do Autismo (TEA). Métodos: revisão sistemática seguindo as diretrizes do Prisma 2020. A seleção dos artigos foi baseada nos critérios PICOS, incluindo crianças e adolescentes diagnosticados com TEA como população-alvo. A intervenção consistiu no uso de canabinoides com comparação entre o grupo que recebeu canabinoides e um grupo controle, que recebeu placebo. Os desfechos avaliados incluíram a eficácia dos canabinoides no manejo dos sintomas do TEA, além da segurança e a ocorrência de efeitos adversos. Foram considerados ensaios clínicos randomizados e controlados (ECRCs), ECRs cruzados, ensaios clínicos quase-randomizados e estudo observacional do tipo coorte. Resultados: A triagem inicial resultou na seleção de 116 artigos com base no título e resumo, enquanto 97 foram excluídos nessa fase. Na etapa de seleção, dois revisores independentes realizaram a leitura completa dos artigos selecionados, resultando na escolha de 06 artigos. Os estudos demonstraram melhora no comportamento social com poucos eventos adversos. Conclusões: O canabinoide é uma alternativa terapêutica promissora para crianças e adolescentes com TEA, proporcionando melhorias em comportamentos sociais, agitação psicomotora e ansiedade, além de ser uma opção relativamente segura.
