El impacto de los proyectos escolares interdisciplinarios sobre el rendimiento académico en estudiantes de quinto grado Article Swipe

El trabajo interdisciplinario es un espacio donde los estudiantes pueden vincular sus saberes y transferirlos en nuevas situaciones. El objetivo del estudio fue evaluar el impacto de un proyecto educativo interdisciplinario denominado “Guardianes del Planeta” en estudiantes de quinto grado de Educación General Básica. Con un enfoque cuantitativo, se aplicó un diseño cuasiexperimental con pretest y postest a una muestra intencional de 30 estudiantes, analizando tres dimensiones: participación en proyectos, habilidades para el aprendizaje y rendimiento académico. La intervención integró a seis asignaturas en actividades fundamentadas en la indagación, el trabajo colaborativo, en la contextualización del conocimiento y su aplicación. Los resultados revelaron mejoras significativas en la participación y las habilidades de aprendizaje (p < 0.05), así como en las asignaturas de Matemáticas, Ciencias Naturales y Educación Física. En contraste, no se observaron cambios estadísticamente significativos en Lenguaje, Ciencias Sociales e Inglés. Los aprendizajes más significativos no siempre son medibles a corto plazo y que los beneficios se extienden a dimensiones socioemocionales y cognitivas. Se concluye que los proyectos interdisciplinarios fomentan una formación integral, conectada con la realidad y orientada al desarrollo de competencias para la vida. Su implementación requiere apoyo de autoridades, formación al profesorado y flexibilidad curricular.
