Energy Systems Test Case Discovery Enabled by Test Case Profile and Repository Article Swipe

Smart energy systems comprise multiple domains like power, thermal, control,\ninformation, and communication technology, which increases the complexity of\nresearch and development studies. This expansion also requires larger and ever\nso complex experimental pilot environments driving the demand for\ngeographically distributed multi-research infrastructure tests. The Holistic\nTest Description approach supports the design of multi-domain and\nmulti-research infrastructure tests by organizing the test cases into\ncomprehensive segments, ensuring all relevant items for testing are covered.\nThese test cases eventually form a pool, which to understand holistically would\nrequire studying and reading all the descriptions. This work proposes therefore\nthe concept of Test Case Profiles to improve test case discovery and the\nstructured creation of them. Test Case Profiles add further structure to the\nindexing in test case repositories. Along with the proposed indexing method,\nfour different use cases are introduced to motivate additional applications of\nthe proposed concept.\n
