Die autoimmune Form der EBA – mit Antikörpern gegen Kollagen Typ VII der Basalmembranen – stellt eine sehr seltene blasenbildende Erkrankung mit einer Prävalenz von 2 auf 10 Millionen Menschen dar. In der Literatur sind nur sieben Fälle mit Manifestation am Larynx beschrieben.
