A aprendizagem, essencial para o desenvolvimento infantil, envolve capacidades intelectuais e emocionais, além do apoio da família e escola. Problemas de aprendizagem podem surgir de questões emocionais, conteúdo, qualidade dos professores e ambiente. Condições crônicas de saúde, como a epilepsia, também podem afetar a aprendizagem, exigindo uma abordagem interdisciplinar entre neurologia, pedagogia e psicologia. Este artigo analisa como a epilepsia impacta a aprendizagem, destacando a importância do tratamento adequado e fornecendo orientações práticas para pediatras e pedagogos, com o objetivo de melhorar o suporte educacional para crianças afetadas.
