Objetivo: Criar um procedimento de atendimento para o paciente pediátrico em Parada Cardiorrespiratória em um hospital pediátrico de Fortaleza. Método: análise metodológica. Na fase inicial, realizou-se uma revisão integrativa, pesquisando nas bases de dados Pubmed/Medline, Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS), Scientific Electronic Library Online (SCIELO) e Google Scholar, utilizando os termos "reanimação cardiopulmonar", "pediatria" e "tempo de resposta rápido", resultando em uma amostra final de 08 trabalhos científicos. A segunda fase envolveu o desenvolvimento da proposta de protocolo. Resultados: a amostra revelou que o público pediátrico começa a apresentar mudanças nos sinais vitais e sinais de declínio fisiológico algumas horas antes do evento em si, aproximadamente de 3 a 11 horas antes do evento em si.
