Background: Hypertension or high blood pressure is one of the major health problems affecting the global community, especially the elderly. Compliance is a term used to describe the behavior of the elderly when taking medication correctly in the right dose, frequency, and time. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors related to Hypertension Treatment Compliance in the Elderly at health center, Gorontalo City.Method: This research method is a quantitative study, an analytical survey research method with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study was 145 elderly people in the working area of the Kota Tengah City Health Center, Gorontalo City, and a sample of 59.Results: The results of the study showed that family support with medication compliance had a chi-square with p value 0.001, motivation with medication compliance had a chi-square with p value 0.004, and between health services and medication compliance had a chi-square with p value 0.000, where the third factor had a value of <0.05, so Ha was accepted.Conclusion: There is a relationship between family support, motivation, and health services with medication in the elderly.
