Việc đánh giá các yếu tố tiên lượng tử vong của bệnh nhân sốc nhiễm khuẩn là rất quan trọng để giúp các bác sĩ đưa ra chiến lược điều trị tối ưu nhằm cải thiện kết quả điều trị. Tuy nhiên, cho đến nay các nghiên cứu so sánh dự đoán tử vong của các hệ thống bảng điểm APACHE IV và SOFA trên bệnh nhân sốc nhiễm khuẩn có rất ít dữ liệu. Do đó, để đánh giá hiệu quả tiên lượng tử vong ở bệnh nhân sốc nhiễm khuẩn của các bảng điêm SOFA và APACHE IV, chúng tôi thực hiện nghiên cứu cắt ngang trên 250 bệnh nhân. Kết quả: Điểm SOFA của nhóm BN tử vong là 12 (9 - 14), nhóm sống là 9 (7 - 12), điểm APACHE IV tương ứng là 84 (66 - 104) và 63 (49 - 84). Có tương quan thuận giữa hai thang điểm với nhau (p=0,000). Tương quan nghịch giữa thời gian điều trị tại ICU và hai thang điểm. SOFA có AUC là 0,656, APACHE IV có AUC cao nhất là 0,713. Kết luận: Cả hai thang điểm SOFA, APACHE IV điều có giá trị dự báo tử vong, trong đó thang điểm APACHE IV có giá trị dự báo tử vong cao hơn cả.
