Gut State: An Extension of the Integrated Gut Rehabilitation Framework for Abdominal Bloating Article Swipe

This article extends the “Integrated Gut Rehabilitation Framework for Abdominal Bloating” by focusing on the concept of Gut State as a dynamic condition reflecting the integrated balance between gut microbiota, the nervous system, hormonal regulation and daily lifestyle behaviors. These interacting factors play a direct role in the development of abdominal bloating and functional gastrointestinal disturbances. This synthesis proposes an advanced rehabilitation framework that expands upon the original model by incorporating additional mechanisms including sodium regulation, fluid circulation, lymphatic system dynamics, sleep cycles and the circadian rhythm of gut function. Practical strategies are also developed for real-life application, aiming to restore and maintain sustainable balance in the digestive system.
