Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar o impacto do uso de recursos multimídias, especialmente imagens e vídeos, na promoção de uma aprendizagem significativa e crítica, considerando a expressividade visual como uma estratégia pedagógica. O problema central da pesquisa reside na falta de uma reflexão sobre o uso desses recursos, especialmente no que diz respeito ao papel da estética como mediadora do saber. A pesquisa foi de caráter bibliográfico, com análise de artigos e livros relevantes sobre o tema, a fim de identificar os principais conceitos e práticas relacionadas ao uso de imagens e vídeos na educação. Durante o desenvolvimento, observou-se que o uso de recursos multimídias contribui para tornar o ensino dinâmico, interativo e acessível, facilitando a compreensão de conteúdos complexos e promovendo a participação ativa dos alunos. No entanto, também foi identificado que o sucesso dessa abordagem depende da formação adequada dos educadores e do planejamento das atividades. Nas considerações finais, foi enfatizado que a expressividade visual desempenha um papel fundamental no processo de ensino-aprendizagem, e que a formação contínua dos docentes é essencial para garantir a eficácia do uso dessas tecnologias. A pesquisa concluiu que, embora os recursos multimídias sejam promissores, há a necessidade de novos estudos para investigar a aplicação desses recursos em diferentes contextos educacionais.
