A crescente incorporação da Inteligência Artificial (IA) no ensino superior tem remodelado práticas pedagógicas, propondo inovações como personalização do ensino, automação de tarefas e estímulo ao pensamento crítico. Este estudo objetivou analisar a percepção de docentes sobre o uso ético da IA na educação superior, identificando benefícios, desafios e implicações pedagógicas. A metodologia consistiu em uma revisão sistemática da literatura, fundamentada nas diretrizes PRISMA, com busca em bases como Scopus, Web of Science e SciELO, abrangendo o período de 2018 a 2025. Foram incluídos 86 estudos empíricos que abordavam o uso da IA em contextos educacionais. Os resultados revelaram que, embora a IA contribua para a excelência acadêmica por meio da aprendizagem adaptativa e da eficiência nos processos, persistem desafios como a formação docente inadequada, riscos éticos (plágio, viés algorítmico), e desigualdades no acesso à tecnologia. As análises sugerem que a IA pode potencializar a qualidade do ensino desde que acompanhada de políticas institucionais claras, formação continuada e infraestrutura adequada. Conclui-se que a IA, aplicada de forma ética e crítica, pode ser uma aliada na construção de um ensino superior mais inovador, eficiente e inclusivo.
