supports casual makers in designing and fabricating constructions \nwith power tools. Starting from a digital version \nof the construction, JigFab achieves this by generating various \ntypes of constraints that configure and physically aid the \nmovement of a power tool. Constraints are generated for every \noperation and are custom to the work piece. Constraints \nare laser cut and assembled together with predefined parts to \nreduce waste. JigFab’s constraints are used according to an \ninteractive step-by-step manual. JigFab internalizes all the \nrequired domain knowledge for designing and building intricate \nstructures, consisting of various types of finger joints, \ntenon & mortise joints, grooves, and dowels. Building such \nstructures is normally reserved for artisans or automated \nwith advanced CNC machinery.
