Kelleni's Best Practice to Avoid and Manage Anaphylaxis Article Swipe
A young Egyptian mother suffering from iritis has recently passed away by anaphylaxis after an ophthalmologist asked for a fluorescein angiography and only administered hydrocortisone to manage her and unfortunately top academic Egyptian ophthalmology professors and association defended this malpractice. I started a public advocacy campaign in Egypt to raise awareness of health care professionals while illustrating how to manage anaphylaxis in both adults and kids according to the most recent available updates and I called it Kelleni’s best practice to avoid and manage anaphylaxis in the developing countries while explaining some iatrogenic mistakes that shared in the death of this patient.
