LiCSAR Extra: Tools for advanced processing of LiCSAR data (starting from GeoTIFFs).Primarily for unwrapping interferograms (integrated with LiCSBAS), but also used as a repository for experimental functions that require atypical or heavy Python libraries. Contains: lics_unwrap.pyThe primary tool of the licsar_extra library, improving phase unwrapping as partly described in IGARSS 2022 and SARWatch 2023. lics_tstools.pyUseful functions to operate with the LiCSBAS datacube. licsbas_mintpy_PMM.pyFunctionality directly imported from MintPy, allowing LiCSBAS to calculate and correct the plate-motion velocity plane, effectively fixing results to the Eurasian tectonic plate. LiCSBAS LiCSBAS is an open-source Python and bash package for InSAR time series analysis using LiCSAR products, which are freely available from the COMET-LiCS web portal. It was originally developed by Dr. Yu Morishita during his research visit at the University of Leeds and is currently maintained by the COMET team. His original (and further developed) version is available on his GitHub. In this branch, we aim to maintain consistency while incorporating new functionality and updates, alongside several experimental functions developed as part of the learning curve of multiple COMET members. This version of the tools has been used to perform large-scale InSAR analysis for Elliott et al. (2025, RSE, in revision), where the input interferograms were additionally corrected for estimated ionosphere and solid Earth tides.
