O objetivo do estudo foi analisar a aplicação do conteúdo de Lutas na Educação Básica. Foi realizado uma revisão sistemática da literatura, por meio da busca na base de dados: Google Acadêmico. Foram utilizados descritores em português, espanhol e inglês, baseados nos descritores (Lutas) OR (Jogos de Oposição) AND (Educação Física Escolar) AND (Escola). Encontrou-se 10.500 estudos inicialmente. Após as etapas de seleção restaram 15 estudos que foram lidos integralmente e atenderam todos os critérios de inclusão dessa pesquisa. De acordo com o levantamento, identificou-se que as temáticas pesquisadas pelos manuscritos foram as práticas de lutas no contexto escolar; as perspectivas pedagógicas; a percepção de alunos e professores com esse conteúdo; a inserção da temática nas aulas de Educação Física; as dificuldades e impedimentos de aplicação desse conteúdo no ambiente escolar; as experiências com esse conteúdo; e estratégias de ensino para abordá-lo. Além disso, a maioria dos estudos verificaram a aplicação das lutas, como conteúdo programático, nas aulas de Educação Física escolar. Diante dos resultados, esta revisão proporcionou análises e reflexões que buscam validar e reforçar a importância do ensino de lutas no ambiente escolar, ainda que, os professores tenham dificuldades e limitações.
