A microcirurgia plástica para reconstrução mamária com retalhos autólogos, especialmente após mastectomia por câncer de mama, oferece resultados estéticos e psicológicos significativos. Este estudo analisou técnicas como o retalho TRAM e DIEP, demonstrando alta taxa de sucesso, menor risco de complicações e impacto positivo na autoestima das pacientes. Foram incluídos estudos que avaliaram o impacto físico e emocional dessas técnicas, comparando reconstrução imediata e tardia. Os resultados evidenciam que a reconstrução imediata favorece uma recuperação psicossocial mais rápida, com maior satisfação estética. A integração de suporte psicológico e o alinhamento pré-operatório de expectativas são essenciais para a recuperação completa das pacientes.
