Microscopic Derivation of the Symbolic Entropic Framework Article Swipe
This technical companion paper provides the microphysical foundations for the "Symbolic-Entropic" cosmological framework. Using a causal short-memory coarse-graining of a UV sector on the closed-time-path (CTP), we derive the symbolic–entropic driver Ξ ≡ Ṡ − Γ Ṡ. The work focuses on the renormalization group (RG) structure that connects microscopic thermodynamics to macroscopic cosmology. We demonstrate that the renormalization toward the infrared is captured by a Wilsonian one-shell scaling argument for the dimensionless ratio y ≡ Ξ/μ² (where μ ~ H). This yields the minimal IR-attractive flow: dy/dlnμ = 2(y − c) This flow drives the tension field to the tracker solution Ξ → c H² at late times, providing the theoretical justification for the running vacuum energy ρ_Λ ∝ H² used in the main treatise. Technical Contributions Uniqueness Proof: We prove the uniqueness of the lowest-order local driver under the axioms of shift invariance and time-reparameterization covariance. Kernel Moments: We quantify how microscopic kernel moments generate the effective macroscopic friction Γ. EFT Mapping: We explicitly map the construction to the Effective Field Theory of Dark Energy, demonstrating consistency with a pinned-Ψ regime (α_M ≃ 0, α_T=0, α_K>0). Context: This paper supplies the UV-to-IR bridge for the phenomenology presented in the main treatise: "A Unified Framework for Emergent Spacetime and Cosmology from Symbolic-Entropic Dynamics."
