Đào tạo y khoa tiền lâm sàng cho nhân viên y tế các kỹ năng và kiến thức có hiệu quả cao trong việc đáp ứng được những đòi hỏi về số lượng, chất lượng cũng như vấn đề y đức trong y tế hiện đại. Các công nghệ tiên tiến cho phép đào tạo thực hành trên các mô phỏng ảo giảm tải cho hệ thống đào tạo y tế truyền thống. Để thực hiện việc mô phỏng y tế, các kỹ thuật xấp xỉ bề mặt đã được ứng dụng nhằm cải thiện nhiều khía cạnh của các ứng dụng trong thực tế. Bài báo này đề xuất sử dụng một số kỹ thuật xấp xỉ bề mặt đối tượng 3D trong phát triển hệ thống thực hành cấp cứu nhi khoa tiền lâm sàng dựa trên công nghệ thực tế ảo. Các kỹ thuật xấp xỉ bề mặt được ứng dụng trên các mô hình 3D nhằm tăng hiệu quả trong việc xác định va chạm giữa các đối tượng trong môi trường ảo, thể hiện sự biến đổi về màu sắc và hình dạng của đối tượng chính xác và chi tiết. Các kỹ thuật này đã được tích hợp để phát triển một hệ thống đào tạo y khoa tiền lâm sàng được triển khai tại Việt Nam.
