New Pattern Dynamics of Fluid Mixing Article Swipe
流体混合におけるパターンの時間変化は,流体物質自身の動きとは異なるように見えることが多く,非定常流れでは特にその傾向が強い.もともと混合パターンとは無数の流体粒子の集合体としての形の動きに関するものであるため,その動きを有限個の流体粒子の動きに還元することはできない.また,混合パターンは時間経過とともに,初期パターンに依存しない共通の形に近づく性質を持っている.これは,流れ場に固有のパターン生成速度場が潜在的に存在することを強く示唆している.しかし,これまでの流体力学は,これらの問題を明快に説明するのに適した枠組みにはなっていない.本論文では,混合パターンの動きを直接支配する新しい速度ベクトル場を導入することにより,流体混合現象を従来とは異なる面から捉えるとともに,その本質をより明確にする.
