The rising demand for genetic counselling has prompted the implementation of various innovative service delivery models, such as patient webinars, videos, chatbots, and the integration of genetic testing into mainstream healthcare. To ensure that patients receive adequate information for informed decision-making in these new models, validated knowledge measures are essential. Currently, validated patient-reported outcome measures in the field of genetics are limited, particularly in the context of inherited heart disease.
