Pemanfaatan Sensor Fotodioda Berbasis Penguat IC LM358 Sebagai Pendeteksi Jarak Api Pada Saat Kebakaran Article Swipe

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah pemanfaatan sensor fotodioda yang dilengkapi dengan penguat operasional IC LM 358 untuk mendeteksi api yang berasal dari sebuah sumber. Pertama-tama, detector (sensor) akan menerima cahaya yang dipancarkan oleh api dengan merespons panjang gelombang optik tertentu selama terjadi kebakaran. Sensor api merupakan sensor yang mempunyai fungsi sebagai pendeteksi nyala api, di mana api tersebut memiliki panjang gelombang antara 760 nm – 1100 nm. Besaran fisika yang dapat dijadikan acuan untuk menentukan jarak api adalah intensitas radiasi panas yang dipancarkan oleh api. Sensor ini menggunakan inframerah sebagai transduser dalam mendeteksi kondisi nyala api. Oleh karena itu, melalui penelitian ini kami berusaha untuk mengembangkan prototipe yang baru, murah, dan sederhana, berupa perangkat pengindraan jarak api yang terbuat dari sensor fotodioda. Sebuah filter inframerah akan diintegrasikan dengan fotodioda, dan intensitas radiasi panas. Fotodioda ini akan dioperasikan dalam mode fotokonduktif, di mana sumber tegangan positif DC terhubung ke katoda. Sedangkan anoda terhubung ke terminal keluaran dan resistor bertindak sebagai pembagi tegangan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem sensor jarak api fotodioda dapat mendeteksi api dengan jarak maksimal 110 cm dan tegangan 0.1 Volt. Semakin jah jarak api maka semakin kecil intensitas cahaya dan tegangan yang dihasilkan. Sistem sensor fotodioda pendeteksi api yang telah dibuat dapat bekerja sesuai dengan yang diharapkan, di mana buzzer dan indikator LED juga dapat berfungsi dengan baik.
