This research aims to overcome the limitations of students' initial conceptual understanding and scientific skills in understanding food chains. The food chain is a process in which living things eat each other in a certain order to maintain their survival in an ecosystem. Living things in an ecosystem are connected to each other through food chains and food webs because they depend on each other. The research method used was experimental research involving 21 students, divided into class VA (experimental) and class VB (control). The results of the research show that the use of PAPER RONAN Board media (Food Wheel Spinning Board) has a significant influence on increasing scientific literacy in class 5A elementary school students. This is proven by the results of the hypothesis test, where the t_count value (2.887) is greater than t_table (1.683), and the sig value (0.000) is smaller than 0.05. This means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, indicating that there is a significant influence. Comparison of the average value of student learning outcomes shows that the experimental class (80.37) is higher than the control class (76.67). Analysis of the effectiveness of PAPER RONAN media products was obtained from daily test and post-test data, showing significant differences before and after students used the media. The experimental group test showed an increase in the average value of 80%, while the control group increased by 77%. Thus, it can be concluded that PAPER RONAN media is effective in increasing the scientific literacy of class 5A elementary school students. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi keterbatasan pemahaman konsep awal dan keterampilan ilmiah dalam memahami rantai makanan pada siswa. Rantai makanan merupakan proses di mana makhluk hidup saling memakan dengan urutan tertentu untuk mempertahankan kelangsungan hidupnya dalam suatu ekosistem. Makhluk hidup dalam ekosistem saling terhubung melalui rantai makanan dan jaring-jaring makanan karena adanya ketergantungan satu sama lain. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan melibatkan 21 peserta didik, terbagi menjadi kelas VA (eksperimen) dan kelas VB (kontrol). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media Papan PAPER RONAN (Papan Perputaran Roda Makanan) memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan literasi sains pada siswa kelas 5A Sekolah Dasar. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil uji hipotesis, di mana nilai t_hitung (2.887) lebih besar dari t_tabel (1.683), dan nilai sig (0.000) lebih kecil dari 0.05. Artinya, Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak, menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan. Perbandingan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan bahwa kelas eksperimen (80.37) lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol (76.67). Analisis efektivitas produk media PAPER RONAN diperoleh dari data ulangan harian dan post-test, menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan sebelum dan sesudah siswa menggunakan media tersebut. Uji kelompok eksperimen menunjukkan peningkatan nilai rata-rata sebesar 80%, sedangkan kelompok kontrol meningkat sebesar 77%. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media PAPER RONAN efektif meningkatkan literasi sains siswa kelas 5A Sekolah Dasar.
