PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN ASSURANCE, RELEVANCE, INTEREST, ASSESSMENT, DAN SATISFACTION (ARIAS) BERBANTUAN SIMULASI PHET TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA Article Swipe

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Assurance, Relevance, Interest, Assessment, dan Satisfaction (ARIAS) berbantuan simulasi PhET terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok elastisitas dan hukum hooke di kelas XI SMAN 14 Medan T.P 2019/2020. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experiment dengan desain penelitian control group pretest post-test. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 14 Medan yang terdiri dari 7 kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling dengan mengambil 2 kelas dari 7 kelas yaitu XI IPA 4 sebagai kelas kontrol dan XI IPA 5 sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan masing-masing siswa berjumlah 30 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes hasil belajar berupa soal pilihan ganda sebanyak 15 soal yang terlebih dahulu divalidasi. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data pretest diperoleh nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen 36,00 dan nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol 35,78. Melalui hasil uji hipotesis data pretest menggunakan uji t pada taraf signifikan α=0,05 diperoleh bahwa kemampuan awal siswa kedua kelas sampel adalah sama. Selanjutnya dilakukan pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran ARIAS berbantuan simulasi PhET pada kelas eksperimen dan pembelajaran konvensional pada kelas kontrol. Setelah selesai diberikan perlakuan model yang berbeda, kedua kelas melakukan post-test untuk melihat kemampuan akhir siswa. Nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen diperoleh 75,77 dan untuk kelas kontrol diperoleh 70,67. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh bahwa adanya perbedaan hasil belajar siswa sehingga terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari model pembelajaran ARIAS berbantuan simulasi PhET terhadap hasil belajar siswa yang disertai penilaian aktivitas belajar siswa.
