Pengembangan Kegiatan Praktikum pada Materi Respirasi Kecambah Mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Biologi Article Swipe

Laboratorium Biologi adalah sarana pendukung terlaksananya proses belajar mengajar Biologi melalui kegiatan praktikum di Perguruan Tinggi. Untuk menerapkan teori yang telah dipelajari, kegiatan praktikum harus memerlukan berbagai bentuk dukungan sarana, prasarana, dan keterampilan dosen dalam upaya mengaplikasikan teori yang sudah dipelajari. Keterbaasan alat dan bahan merupakan beberapa kendala yang terdapat dalam kegiatan praktikum yang dilakanakan pada Laboratoriun Pendidikan Biologi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menciptakan bahan dan alat yang akan meningkatkan kelayakan alat yang akan digunakan. Penelitian ini adalah pengembangan (R&D). Empat langkah model 4D Thiagarajan (1974) yakni define, design, develop, dan disseminate tahapan pengembangan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah tahap define, design, dan develop. Temuan penelitian ini berisi bahan dan alat yang mudah digunakan untuk mempelajari respirasi kecambah. Tingkat kelayakan alat juga dipastikan oleh ahli media melalui uji validasi, yang menghasilkan nilai 81,6% dengan standar sangat layak, dengan kriteria sangat layak ditemukan 83,2% uji coba individu, 85,3% uji coba kelompok kecil, dan 85,8% uji coba lapangan. Secara keseluruhan, temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan percobaan respirasi kecambah sebagai alat kegiatan praktikum dalam pembelajaran biologi adalah tepat.
