The dataset contains protein coding gene annotation files of four manakins. We used the homolog-based approach to annotate the protein-coding genes by using the protein sequences of Gallus gallus, Taeniopygia guttata and Homo sapiens downloaded from Ensembl release 105 as the reference gene sets.
