Abstract Single-nuclei RNA sequencing remains a challenge for many human tissues, as incomplete removal of background signal masks cell-type-specific signals and interferes with downstream analyses. Here, we present Quality Clustering (QClus), a droplet filtering algorithm targeted toward challenging samples.
