This session showcases some of the best works in ultrasound ASICs for imaging, communication, and beamforming.The first paper describes a real-time ultrasound image sensor for drone vision at a 7m range.Next, two pitch-matched ultrasound transceivers for medical imaging are presented, demonstrating the highest level in per-element integration and highest spatial resolution to date using 100×100μm 2 transducers.The fourth paper proposes a multi-frequency CMUT-array RX for the water-air acoustic link, and the final paper showcases a low-power adaptive beamformer for speech recognition.
