This paper focuses on the performance of introducing zeolite nanocomposite into photoanodes of dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). Mesoporous titanium dioxide (TiO 2 ) and zeolite nanoparticles were synthesized using the hydrothermal technique. TiO 2 / zeolite composites were prepared by sol-gel techniques. The Synthesized nanocomposite was characterized by various techniques like X-ray diffraction technique (XRD), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and UV–Vis’s spectrophotometer. XRD analysis showed the highly crystalline zeolite, Titanium oxide and their composite is showing polycrystalline nature. SEM results elucidated that the incorporation of Titanium oxide into the zeolite changed the surface morphology from rectangular to spherical. UV-Vis’s spectroscopy shows that the bandgap of zeolite, titanium oxide, and its composite is 2.96, 3.4, and 3.24 eV, respectively. I-V results confirmed the formation of p-n heterojunction was formed between p– and n-type materials indicating that this is the behavior of solar cell devices.
