Presenting a mathematical framework for the understanding of thephysical basis of consciousness based on the dynamics of a fundamental"condensate field" Φ(x) that unifies quantum mechanics, general relativity, and the neural correlates of consciousness. The theory postulates thatconscious experiences correspond to high-complexity attractorconfigurations Φ_C of Φ(x) obeying a nonlinear geometrical flow equation. Iprove the existence and stability of Φ_C, derive empirical predictions forneuroscience and physics, and argue that the framework resolveslongstanding philosophical puzzles about the nature of qualia and themind-body problem. The result is a precise, empirically grounded theory ofconsciousness that bridges the gap between objective descriptions andsubjective experience.
