<sec> <title>UNSTRUCTURED</title> This perspective article discusses the need for an accessible reliable measure of digital readiness for the population, both as a means of measurement but as a way to address the digital divide that persists despite growing use of telemedicine. A tool that encompasses accessibility, trust, access and knowledge is necessary for this to occur.Current tools are not inclusive, or are far too long.Without an adequate tool we will fail to make advances that are needed to close the digital divide, the new super determinant of health. </sec>
