RESUMOConsiderando o impacto das lesões musculoesqueléticas no desempenho e na carreira dos atletas de futebol profissional, objetiva-se identificar as variáveis de influência na predição de lesões com base em análises sistemáticas e modelos preditivos recentes. Procedeu-se a uma revisão narrativa da literatura, com busca em bases como PubMed Central, Scopus, Cochrane Library, Web of Science e ScienceDirect, focando estudos publicados nos últimos dez anos. Foram incluídos artigos com análises sistemáticas, meta-análises e modelos estatísticos robustos sobre fatores associados ao risco de lesão. Observou-se que o histórico prévio de lesão é o preditor mais consistente (OR = 1,95; p < 0,05), seguido por fatores físicos (carga de treino, desequilíbrios neuromusculares), biométricos (idade, índice de massa corporal) e psicológicos (estresse, motivação). Além disso, o uso de tecnologias como GPS e testes funcionais (FMS) tem ganhado destaque, embora com evidências mistas. Conclui-se que a predição de lesões no futebol exige uma abordagem multidisciplinar, integrando dados clínicos, biomecânicos e psicológicos, para o desenvolvimento de estratégias personalizadas e protocolos preventivos mais eficazes.
