Twin Boundaries Contribute to The First Cycle Irreversibility of LiNiO2 Open
LiNiO 2 remains a target for layered oxide Li‐ion cathode development as it can theoretically deliver the highest energy density of this materials class. In practice, LiNiO 2 suffers from poor capacity retention due to electrochemically‐in…

Elucidating the Impact of Mg Substitution on the Properties of NASICON‐Na3+<i>y</i>V2−<i>y</i>Mg<i>y</i>(PO4)3 Cathodes Open
Vanadium multiredox‐based NASICON‐Na z V 2− y M y (PO 4 ) 3 (3 ≤ z ≤ 4; M = Al 3+ , Cr 3+ , and Mn 2+ ) cathodes are particularly attractive for Na‐ion battery applications due to their high Na insertion voltage (>3.5 V vs Na + /Na 0 ), re…

Probing reaction processes and reversibility in Earth-abundant Na3FeF6 for Na-ion batteries Open
By correlating the observed capacity with the amount NaF identified through 23 Na NMR, we have unambiguously shown that Na 3 FeF 6 undergoes conversion to NaF and Fe, despite the metastability of the newly formed Fe nanoparticles.
