PEMFC用セパレーターを炭素系材料(流路形成材)とアルミニウム(ガス隔離板)を組み合わせてつくることを想定し,PEMFC生成水を模擬した希薄な硫酸塩およびフッ化物水溶液中におけるアルミニウムの腐食挙動を検討した.浸漬試験の結果によれば,純水中と比較し,1 ppmのフッ化物はアルミニウムの腐食量を増加させたのに対し,1 ppmの硫酸イオンはむしろ腐食を抑制した.
