多形腺腫は最も高頻度の唾液腺腫瘍であるが,舌下腺に生じるのはまれである。また舌下腺腫瘍の多くは悪性であるため,診断に苦慮することも多い。われわれは舌下腺多形腺腫の1例を経験したので,文献的考察を加え報告する。症例は60歳代男性で,左側口底部の腫瘤を主訴に来院,外科的切除を行い,多形腺腫の診断を得た。術後1年6か月経過した現在,再発は認めていない。舌下腺腫瘍を疑う際は,悪性に準じた対応が重要である。
