多形腺腫は最も高頻度の唾液腺腫瘍であるが，舌下腺に生じるのはまれである。また舌下腺腫瘍の多くは悪性であるため，診断に苦慮することも多い。われわれは舌下腺多形腺腫の1例を経験したので，文献的考察を加え報告する。症例は60歳代男性で，左側口底部の腫瘤を主訴に来院，外科的切除を行い，多形腺腫の診断を得た。術後1年6か月経過した現在，再発は認めていない。舌下腺腫瘍を疑う際は，悪性に準じた対応が重要である。
