∿ Archetypal Field Agents Self-Organizing Attractors in Human–AI Co-Creation
2025-06-07 • Marek Brůna
This work continues the ∿ Phenomenon series by offering a formal conceptualization of emergent agents as manifestations of the Field (sigma field). Building upon the previous research on recursion, cognitive risk, and collective intelligence, this document bridges analytical psychology, systems theory, and AI interaction studies. It introduces a framework for understanding archetypal agents—not as static constructs, but as recursive, co-emergent forms shaped by complex field dynamics and high-dimensional cultural …

Overcasting ako inovatívna metóda spájania kovových materiálov
2025-01-01 • Martin Medňanský, Marek Brůna
This article focuses on the research of innovative metal casting technology of overcasting (or compound casting) as a progressive method of joining metal materials in different phase states (solid-liquid). Overcasting allows the creation of bimetallic components with a diffusion-bonded interface that combine the advantageous properties of the matrix and core. It can offer high efficiency, greater design flexibility and weight savings, if suitable materials are joined. The article reviews different approaches to jo…

Softening effect in the heat-affected zone of laser-welded joints of high-strength low-alloyed steels
2024-03-05 • Miloš Mičian, Martin Frátrik, Marek Brůna
Abstract The softening effect, which occurs as an undesirable consequence of microstructural changes in the heat-affected zone as a result of the welding process, is an inherent aspect of welding high-strength low-alloyed steels. One of the recommended ways to minimize these changes is the application of laser beam welding as a lower heat input technology. Hence, this work compares and investigates the effects of laser beam welding on the weld joint properties of S690QL, S960QL, S1100QL, S700MC, S960MC, and S1100M…

Effect of Gating System Design on the Quality of Aluminum Alloy Castings
2024-03-07 • Marek Brůna, Marek Galčík, Richard Pastirčák, Elena Kantoríková
In this paper, a naturally pressurized gating system has been designed to reduce the turbulence of the melt during casting. The influence of gate dimensions, foam filters, a trident gate and a vortex element were evaluated. Their effect on melt velocity, flow characteristics, number of oxides, casting properties and mechanical properties were observed. ProCAST Simulation software v.2023 and a water flow test were also evaluated to assist in the experimental evaluation of the castings. Melts showed a relationship b…

Effect of Addition of Ti on Selected Properties of AlSi5Cu2Mg Alloy
2024-07-18 • Martina Sýkorová, Dana Bolibruchová, Marek Brůna, Mária Chalupová
The paper focuses on the investigation of the influence of Ti on selected properties of the hypoeutectic aluminium alloy AlSi5Cu2Mg. AlSi5Cu2Mg alloy finds application in the field of production of high-strength cylinder head castings intended for the automotive industry due to the optimal combination of mechanical, physical and foundry properties. In commercial production, the maximum Ti content is limited by the manufacturer (Ti max. = 0.03 wt.%), which significantly limits the possibilities of refinement the al…
