ジオシンセティックスには様々な種類の材料が存在し，機能（補強，排水，分離，ろ過，遮水，形状安定，空間の確保）と種類に応じた材料試験方法が存在する．ジオシンセティックスの機能を評価するため，国際規格では一部の試験法が制定されているものの，国内では標準化されていない試験法がある．我が国の実情に鑑み，よく利用される国際規格は，国内で十分に審議を行い，国内規格として標準化する必要がある．本報告では，国内外のジオシンセティックス規格の整理・分析と，今後の国内標準化戦略について述べる．
