ジオシンセティックスには様々な種類の材料が存在し,機能(補強,排水,分離,ろ過,遮水,形状安定,空間の確保)と種類に応じた材料試験方法が存在する.ジオシンセティックスの機能を評価するため,国際規格では一部の試験法が制定されているものの,国内では標準化されていない試験法がある.我が国の実情に鑑み,よく利用される国際規格は,国内で十分に審議を行い,国内規格として標準化する必要がある.本報告では,国内外のジオシンセティックス規格の整理・分析と,今後の国内標準化戦略について述べる.
