Reaction intermediates recognized by <i>in situ</i> FTIR spectroscopy in CO <sub>2</sub> hydrogenation over the Cu/ZnO/SPP-zeolite catalyst Open
SPP was used to confine the nanosized (2–8 nm) Cu/ZnO composite. The Cu surfaces maintains a constant carbonate coverage and low H 2 O adsorption during the reaction, while carbonyls and formates are rapidly formed and converted.
