Pythium and Fungus Can Coexist in Keratitis
2025-01-01 • Hitendra Ahooja, Savita Yadav, Neelam Sapra, Nidhi Chhikara
This case report comprises a 22-year-old male presenting with right eye pain, redness, and watering. Initial treatment included antibiotics, antifungals, and oral steroids, but with poor response. Subsequent diagnosis revealed a central corneal descemetocele with Aspergillus flavus and Pythium dual infection. Therapeutic penetrating keratoplasty was performed followed by topical linezolid and later topical steroid therapy, resulting in successful management. This case highlights the importance of considering mixed…

TPE based cationic AIEgen with large stokes shift enables detection of blood anti-coagulator with high selectivity

<title>Abstract</title> In this present study, a thiazolium based tetraphenyl ethylene derivative (TPET) was developed for the sensitive and selective detection of heparin (Hp), exploiting the aggregation-induced emission (AIE) feature of TPE. The probe, TPET remains weakly emissive in its dispersed monomeric form but exhibits a pronounced fluorescence “turn-on” response upon interaction with Hp. The probe, TPET due to its inherent cationic nature, experiences a strong electrostatic interaction at the vicinity of …

Exploring Differentially Expressed Sperm miRNAs in Idiopathic Recurrent Pregnancy Loss and Their Association with Early Embryonic Development
2024-07-21 • Ayushi Thapliyal, Anil Kumar Tomar, Sarla Naglot, Soniya Dhiman, Sudip Kumar Datta, Jai Bhagwan Sharma, Neeta Singh, Savita Yadav
The high incidence of idiopathic recurrent pregnancy loss (iRPL) may stem from the limited research on male contributory factors. Many studies suggest that sperm DNA fragmentation and oxidative stress contribute to iRPL, but their roles are still debated. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are short non-coding RNAs that regulate various biological processes by modulating gene expression. While differential expression of specific miRNAs has been observed in women suffering from recurrent miscarriages, paternal miRNAs remain unexpl…

Exploring Molecular Alterations in Breast Cancer Among Indian Women Using Label‐Free Quantitative Serum Proteomics
2024-01-01 • Anil Kumar Tomar, Ayushi Thapliyal, Sandeep Mathur, Rajinder Parshad, Suhani, Savita Yadav
The clinical data indicate that diverse parameters characterize breast cancer patients in India, including age at presentation, risk factors, outcomes, and behavior. Alarming incidence and mortality rates emphasize the crucial need for early screening measures to combat breast cancer‐related deaths effectively. Quantitative proteomic approaches prove pivotal in predicting cancer prognosis, analyzing protein expression patterns tied to disease aggressiveness and metastatic potential, and facilitating conversant the…

Enhancing resource allocation for power sharing in cognitive radio communication networks using ensemble moth-flame optimized dynamic recurrent neural networks
2024-07-12 • Savita Yadav, Pradeep Kumar, Sowmiya Kumar, Anjali Singh
Wireless data transmission networks are radio communication networks (RCN). These networks allow radios as well as phones to communicate, exchange data and calls across radio waves. Broadcasting, emergency services and mobile telecommunications are among the numerous industries that use RCN's flexibility and ease. Our proposed method, Ensemble Moth-Flame Optimized Dynamic Recurrent Neural Network (EMFO-DRNN), addresses the challenges inherent in DNN-based systems, maximizing power distribution, minimizing interfer…
