Photoionization Mass Spectrometry Unveils Siloxane Sequence Isomers: Advancing Molecular Tagging Applications Open
Sequence‐defined polymers, which encode information through their monomer sequence, are promising candidates for molecular tagging. However, conventional sequence‐defined polymers often degrade in harsh conditions, limiting their practical…

Alkali-cation-free electrochemical CO2 reduction to multicarbon products in aqueous electrolytes containing tetraalkylammonium cations Open
We achieved CO 2 electroreduction to C 2+ products ( j C 2+ = 0.7 A cm −2 ) in aqueous electrolytes containing tetramethylammonium cations without alkali metals. Smaller cations enhance the electric field in the double layer, promoting C 2…

Quantitative Analysis and Manipulation of Alkali Metal Cations at the Cathode Surface in Membrane Electrode Assembly Electrolyzers for CO 2 Reduction Reactions Open
The stable operation of the CO 2 reduction reaction (CO 2 RR) in membrane electrode assembly (MEA) electrolyzers is known to be hindered by the accumulation of bicarbonate salt, which are derived from alkali metal cations in anolytes, on t…

Suppression of Salt Precipitation in Membrane Electrode Assembly Electrolyzers for CO2 reduction reactions by Intermittent Supply of Alkali Metal Cations Open
The electrolysis of CO2 into value-added products holds great potential for closing the carbon cycle. A membrane electrode assembly (MEA) that uses solid polymer electrolytes is a critical technology for enhancing the energy efficiency for…

Visible-Light-Photomeltable Azobenzenes as Solar Thermal Fuels Open
Photomelting of azobenzene is a phenomenon that is typically achieved by UV-light irradiation. However, many applications based on azobenzene photomelting, including the solar thermal fuel (STF) application, require responsiveness to visib…

Structural and functional characterization of a bifunctional GH30-7 xylanase B from the filamentous fungus Talaromyces cellulolyticus Open
Glucuronoxylanases are endo-xylanases and members of the glycoside hydrolase family 30 subfamilies 7 (GH30-7) and 8 (GH30-8). Unlike for the well-studied GH30-8 enzymes, the structural and functional characteristics of GH30-7 enzymes remai…
